Due to the fact I need to start piecing together which scenes in my trailer will favor other ones to summarize my story, I have decided to explore what I need to display in my trailer.
First Scene
In my trailer i will firstly need to display how everybody is friends, there is a very nice balance in the community. Everyone enjoys each others company. I need to make a friendly scene to display this in a positive way.
I will most probably record a few friends for this scene showing their friendship between each other with a positive vibe to display there is nothing but trust. This scene will be filmed outside in an open, free and presentable environment to enhance the happy mood. I will be using a variation of long and close camera shots to include different factors. The close camera shots are mainly used to display the closeness and trust between the friendship groups. On the other hand the long shots are to help the nice environment mood soak up into the friendship group’s personality and conclude them being close, however it can also conclude that they don’t know each other as closely as they think. This scene will not have much pace; this will be because there isn't any tension in the scene.

Second Scene
Secondly I will need to display how the equilibrium becomes upset and affected; I can simply show this by my main character John Randal changing certain things in his personality due to his newly found drug abuse. I can show this perfectly in a scene where two best friends are having a conversation about how his friends are becoming worried about John.
The way i will plan this scene will be to have some kind of scene where a couple of the friends are going to try some drugs for the first time. This will be a perfect scene where different personalities can conflict to upset the equilibrium. I could create this mood by certain friends being pressured into trying drugs; this would pressure and upset certain characters in the friendship group to bring some kind of concerns. I could film this scene in the woods using a mixture of different camera angles such as high angle and close up shots to make certain characters seem vulnerable or intimidating depending that is in the shot. My main aim in this scene is to try and convince the audience John has a hidden evil side to him, this will indicate to the audience why he has to be punished eventually.

Thirdly I will need to create a type of scene with John on his own showing how badly his drug addiction has started to affect him personally. This could be a very affective scene if it was to show him turning against his friends violently; his evil side needs to be exploited to show he has to be stopped in some way. This could be displayed with him and his closest friend who are up to mischief as usual who are doing something illegal involving drugs or trespassing. I could easily reveal John's evil side if I was to make him do something crazy, I could then record them arguing with his best friend Harry about not wanting to trespass and do what John wants him to do. This could potentially result in a huge argument resulting in physical violence from John before he realizes what his drug addiction is doing to him, his friend realized he is associating with a demon inside and escapes with fear.
Thirdly I will need to create a type of scene with John on his own showing how badly his drug addiction has started to affect him personally. This could be a very affective scene if it was to show him turning against his friends violently; his evil side needs to be exploited to show he has to be stopped in some way. This could be displayed with him and his closest friend who are up to mischief as usual who are doing something illegal involving drugs or trespassing. I could easily reveal John's evil side if I was to make him do something crazy, I could then record them arguing with his best friend Harry about not wanting to trespass and do what John wants him to do. As well as this I need to also show him on his own away from his friends, this is to show it's not too late to return to his normal character. I can easily make this into a sort of monologue where I use very close up shots of John sleeping at night time, I can show that it is coming to the end of the road for him and he needs to stop before it is too late and he loses all his friends. I can make this scene very dramatic by using a lot of high speed video combined with sharp sounds; this could be very affective with a voice over to show he can still be a good person. I will combine this with very affective flashbacks to make the viewer feel the emotions between their friendships.
Fifth Scene
In the next scene I will need to have John filmed in a dark unpredictable environment to show the mood in the friendship group is dark and dangerous. John will be filmed using a hand held camera to show he is being monitored in a very close way; I will also make these shots quite close to hint the viewer that he is closer to the stalkers than he thinks. John will then be kidnapped and taken away in a very quick scene, by now the moods will have become a lot tenser and therefore the pace of the trailer will become a lot more fast compare to the beginning of the trailer.
Sixth Scene (Twist)
The next few scenes will be very similar, these will include a lot of fast paced, close up and unpredictable footage. John will be made very vulnerable, he will learn that life should not be taken for granted and he will be tested hugely where he needs to fight to his will to be free again by a mysterious person in disguise who he knows a lot more than he thinks he does. These scenes will most probably be filmed in a house, the phoenix arts centre and they could even be very well filmed in a toilet. These scenes will be very dark, i will try to use very close shots to make the viewer feel very vulnerable as if they have no clue where the person is to add a scary unpredictable factor.
In this scene I could have a small act where John feels like giving up; this could be combined with a flashback of his best friend giving him an important motivational quote which he previously ignored. This will be the quote which drives him to fight for his life and earn his rights to live in freedom again. Final Seventh Scene
In my final scene John will have earned his will to live life in freedom again, this is all thanks to the memorial quotes from his best friend Harry in the past. John will be filmed in a location outside which can summarize how beautiful, precious and taken for granted life is. I will need to capture this last scene on a clear day with blue skies, for extra meaning I will most probably record this scene at sunset. As well as this the tense music will turn into a very slow, relaxed and precious music to display that the pressure has now been taken off for John and he can choose how he wants to relive his life with the lessons he has learnt. Never take life for granted.
