Prior to choosing little white lies as the style of front cover I have decided to experiment testing a lot of different factors via Photoshop.
As you can see the text doesn’t seem too appealing here. If I was to refer back to a little white lies cover, the font almost flows all over the page in a funky way.
The main problems I have encountered from my designs are that It doesn’t have a flowing feel.

I have mainly tried to experiment with colour in these design and picture placement. As you can see I have tried to experiment with dark gradient colours usually consisting of no more than five colours. This is in relation to little white lies original colour themes.
I have learnt that the simpler the colour scheme the more affective it appears to be with this style of magazine. From reviewing these above covers I can see the first cover is the most affective in the colour scheme, the other 2 look rather untidy. This is because the colours don’t contrast each other and vary too much.

This is more a long the lines of a suitable front cover. I have experimented a little bit more with the type of fonts I use; this font seems to flow wonderfully with the little white lies look.
However I still feel this front cover isn’t completely finished. It feels like the colour scheme isn’t yet there. The main reason for thinking this is the middle colours of the picture. In some way it doesn’t look right, I need to experiment a bit more and find a suitable contrast.
