Creating Sound effects

From looking at the December trailer it has become apparent to me that i will need to make some sounds affects myself from scratch.

I can do this in many different ways whether they are computer generated or simply created by using everyday objects. By doing this i can simply use my camera to record a sound myself. I will then use movie maker to unlink the audio and video, by doing this i can simply save just the audio. This is very important for introducing voiceovers and interesting sound effets to my trailer.

Sound effects are very important for any trailer. I have been using my camera to capture the audio of many different sounds which I would find relevant for including in my final movie trailer.

Great examples of some of the sounds you can create very easily are included in this video.

As well as creating these very interesting sound effects I have also come across a few websites which allows you to create simple and basic music online. I found this very useful. I mainly benefited from the pitch tool. This added a delusional creepy effect into my movie trailer.

There are a few different sound effects i can think of that would benefit hugely in my trailer. Here are a few examples.

- The noise of a chainsaw

- The sound of a door slamming

- The sound of a zip

- The sound of different piano notes.

Here is a quick example of some of the sound effects they require.
